Olivia Newton-John s'est dévouée désespérément à sa garde-robe "Grease" pendant des décennies, mais elle abandonne maintenant les looks emblématiques pour une bonne cause.

 "Je n'ai pas l'impression de me séparer d'eux", a-t-elle déclaré à Page Six Style. "J'ai une photo d'eux, ce qui est probablement mieux que de les avoir dans le placard, et j'ai l'impression d'avoir passé mon temps avec eux. Je suis heureuse que cela aille aux gens qui vont en profiter. "

 Les recettes de la vente aux enchères, gérée par Julien's Auctions en Californie et prévue pour le 2 novembre, seront versées au centre de recherche sur le cancer Olivia Newton-John de Melbourne, en Australie, un hôpital public qui traite des patients atteints de cancer, mène des recherches et des essais cliniques.


Olivia Newton-John has been hopelessly devoted to her “Grease” wardrobe for decades, but she is now giving up the iconic looks for a good cause.

“I don’t feel I’m parting with them,” she told Page Six Style. “I have a photograph of them, which is probably better than having it in the closet, and I feel like I’ve had my time with them. I’m happy that it’s going to go to people that will enjoy it.”

Proceeds from the auction, run by the California-based Julien’s Auctions and set for November 2, will benefit the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre in Melbourne, Australia — a public hospital that treats cancer patients, conducts research and clinical trials.

Olivia Newton-John is looking forward to her daughter Chloe Lattanzi having kids of her own.

“I would love that, but yeah I have ‘grandogs’ right now,” the “Grease” star, 70, recently told Page Six.

Lattanzi, 33, has been engaged to James Driskill since 2010, and despite reports claiming the couple had secretly wed, Newton-John confirmed that they have not yet tied the knot.

“They’re talking about it, but they’ve been talking about it for a long time, so I don’t know when that will happen,” she said with laugh. Newton-John told Page Six that although she resides mostly in California and Lattanzi lives in Oregon, the pair try to see each other frequently.

“We were just there last weekend, and she was here the week before,” she said. “I see a lot of her and she comes and stays with me for a week at a time. It’s wonderful.”


In June, paparazzi spotted the mother-daughter duo on a shopping trip in Los Angeles, and Newton-John appeared to be in good spirits amid her health struggles.
Newton-John confirmed to us she is “really well” despite battling cancer for the third time.
