With their wedding debuting to US audiences last weekend – leaving Aussie fans in the dark – it’s becoming clearer than ever that Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell are eyeing a move to America.
And Woman’s Day can reveal the newlyweds are in secret talks with long-time family friend Olivia Newton-john to buy her California ranch.

Olivia, 71, who put her home on the market just over a year ago as she continues her battle against breast cancer, “couldn’t think of a more lovely couple” to pass on her dream home, according to sources.
Worth $8.5 million, the agent who was listing Olivia’s luxury ranch tells Woman’s Day it was taken off the market two weeks ago. The surprise move prompted locals in the stunning Santa Ynez valley to speculate the singer and her husband John Easterling “could be in private talks with a buyer they know”.

“I’m sure she would consider it poignant to pass it on to another iconic Aussie, especially one she knows and loves,” says a source.

An insider close to Bindi, 21, says, “The couple enjoy a quiet life, but would want to be close enough to Hollywood. Plus with a place like Olivia’s, they’d be able to have animals. There’s even a guest house for [Bindi’s mum] Terri when she visits!”

D’une valeur de 8,5 millions de dollars, l’agent qui inscrivait le ranch de luxe d’Olivia a déclaré à Woman’s Day qu’il avait été retiré du marché il y a deux semaines. Cette décision surprise a incité les habitants de la magnifique vallée de Santa Ynez à spéculer que la chanteuse et son mari John Easterling "pourraient être en pourparlers privés avec un acheteur qu'ils connaissent".

Et ces acheteurs secrets seraient Bindi Irwin, amie d'ONJ, et son tout nouveau mari Chandler Powell !  Olivia ne pouvait sans doute pas rêver mieux ...

LAS VEGAS : Mondays Dark est une émission de variétés qui recueille des dollars pour un organisme de bienfaisance local différent tous les deux lundis. Mondays Dark est une organisation 100% bénévole pour aider les artistes de Las Vegas dans le besoin. Deux fois par mois, l'émission rassemble une distribution éclectique d'invités, notamment des artistes et des stars d'Hollywood et du Strip de Vegas, pour 90 minutes de discussion, de divertissement et de nombreux rires.
La mission de Mondays Dark est de lever 10 000 $ en 90 minutes. Le spectacle de variétés à 20 $ est devenu l'un des billets les plus populaires de la ville et la liste des organismes de bienfaisance qui attendent de s'associer à Mondays Dark continue de s'allonger.

Le téléthon Mondays Dark, prévu pour ce 27 avril, sera un événement de six heures de streaming en direct organisé par Mark Shunock mettant en vedette de nombreuses stars du Strip de Las Vegas ainsi que d'autres apparitions de célébrités. Tous les profits profiteront aux artistes, aux employés et aux artistes du spectacle vivant à Las Vegas.

"Il s'agit de sensibiliser et d'honorer vraiment le travail que les artistes font dans la ville pour y arriver", a déclaré Shunock au Las Vegas Weekly. "Nous tenons parfois les spectacles pour acquis, mais ils sont une grande raison pour laquelle 50 millions de personnes viennent à Vegas chaque année."

Olivia Newton-John participera à ce Telethon lundi prochain à partir de 17h ... via Skype !

Earlier this year we ranked Australia’s biggest bands, with AC/DC coming out on top. Now here’s our Top 30 of Australia’s solo acts, gauged from album sales, local and international chart success, streaming figures, YouTube views and award hauls.

We narrowed it down to singers — meaning dance producer Flume and comedian The 12th Man missed out — while acts who perform with bands — such as Nick Cave, Billy Thorpe and John Butler — weren’t eligible.
