C'est pas du tout ma chanson favorite de l'album GAIA .. mais ONJ l'a défendue bec et ongles sur les plateaux TV .. pour justement faire parler de son album .. mais malheureusement en mode Radio, ONJ avait atteint un âge fatidique !  Et ce n'est pas le SMASH EXTENDED VERSION avec sa rhythmique R&B qui a inversé la tendance !

HEARTHBREAKING TRIBUTE

 A touching and emotional state memorial service has been held for Dame Olivia Newton-John in Melbourne.

Je crois qu'Olivia Newton-John aurait apprécié l'hommage qui lui a été rendu dimanche dernier ! "Simple" et de bon ton ! Le plus important était d'écouter son mari et sa fille ...

Les amis du "showbiz" n'étaient surement pas ceux qui partageait sa vie au quotidien ( à part Cliff Richard ).. ses vrais amis étaient dans la salle de manière anonyme ! En écoutant Delta Goodrem ... qui à fait le show et qui est une excellente chanteuse.. je comprend pourquoi j'aime tant la voix d'Olivia .. elle qui n'a jamais eu besoin de monter en puissance vocale !

En tout cas j'ai vraiment apprécié cet hommage !

TOTTIE Goldsmith finds it hard to pinpoint her proudest achievement.

The singer, actor, ambassador and philanthropist is so humble she even thought twice about accepting today’s Queen’s Birthday honour. She has received an Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for service to the community, and to the performing arts.
“I was so surprised that I just kept reading the email, I thought they got it wrong,’’ Goldsmith, 57, said. “I just went OK, I do a lot of charity stuff and I have been doing this for years. I had to either accept or reject it and I had a big impulse to reject it because I feel there are others doing so much. Now that it’s going to happen, I think it’s a really good thing and I feel really honoured.”

Goldsmith, who is still touring with The Chantoozies, had her first paid job in entertainment at age 19.

“Apart from having my beautiful daughter (Layla) I don’t have that personality type where I’m proud of myself,’’ she said. “I feel I can always do better. I did a play called Sex with Strangers with Sam Johnson … on a personal level that was a really big achievement for me.”
Goldsmith is Goodwill Ambassador for the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre, a role close to her heart as Newton-John’s niece.
“To be able to help (Olivia), because she’s in America and she needs choices made on the ground here … is a really beautiful feeling.”

Le 23 décembre 1995, en Angleterre,  ONJ et CLIFF RICHARD sont classés à la 56ème place ..
13 places de moins .. :-( .. pour un duo si magique ! 

L'album SONGS FROM HEATHCLIFF d'ou est extrait HAD TO BE reste dans le top 30 ... à la 29ème position ! 

HAD TO BE

Sorti un 27 novembre 1995 en Angleterre, le single HAD TO BE rentre dans le classement officiel anglais à la 22ème place le 9 décembre ...
C'est un autre projet musical qui lie ONJ et Sir Cliff Richard pour l'album SONGS FROM HEATHCLIFF .. projet qui servi Cliff Richard pour une comédie musicale sur scène.

La comédie musicale est basée sur le roman d' Emily Brontë Wuthering Heights. La musique a été composée par John Farrar avec des paroles écrites par Tim Rice . Olivia Newton-John est l'invitée principale de l'album, contenant cinq duos avec Cliff Richard. 
ONJ ne sera pas de la partie pour l'aventure scénique ... étonnant !
