Selon WIKI l'album TOTALLY HOT est sorti aux USA un 22 novembre 1978 ! Avec absolument rien de nouveau à se mettre entre les 2 oreilles pour l'anniversaire des 45 ans .. ONJ n'est plus qu'une vague référence en France : La "meuf" de GREASE ! 

Je pense que les jeunes générations ne s'intéressent pas plus à elle .. musicalement parlant ! C'est triste mais c'est comme ça et comme rien n'est fait pour la mettre en valeur .. ça ne va pas s'arranger !

Bon ... moi le vendredi 10 octobre, je vais chercher mes "STRONGER THAN BEFORE" en Fnac ... tant que j'ai des jambes .. et en espérant que PRIMARY MACHIN livre en temps et en heure ..PIAS !!  Je dis cela parce que par le passé .. y en a eu des coquilles ! 

 

 

FLASHBACK

Semaine du 30 aout 1980, CHRISTOPHER CROSS n'attendait qu'une chose ... qu'OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN lui laisse la meilleure place des charts US !!! DIANA ROSS lui a emboité le pas !! Du coup notre chère tête blonde est reléguée à la 3ème place du BILLBOARD HOT100 .... mais XANADU arrive ...

Michelle Day : I love this look for Olivia, we came across a sheer shawl in her wardrobe, popped a black dress underneath and draped the shawl over her shoulders for a perfect improvised glam look. We were always rummaging through her wardrobe for something unique to photograph her in, so fun, like little girls playing dress ups. Some things never change ❤️

Dommage qu'il ne se soit jamais épanché via un mémoire sur leur collaboration si unique !! 

 

MARILYN 

Le 4 août 1962, Marilyn Monroe meurt à l'âge de 36 ans à son domicile, des suites d'une overdose de barbituriques. Sa mort a été considérée comme un suicide probable. Marilyn est inhumée le 8 août 1962 au Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery de Los Angeles. 

OLIVIA adorait MARILYN .... et dans la série des chiffres bizarres ... elle est morte un 8 août ...

FUN FACTS ABOUT THIS SHOT

*It was shot in Malibu 1/25/20 on what was Australia day in Australia.

*We created a makeshift studio in the kitchen of Pat and John Farrar's house for the shoot.

*The pink Chanel jacket was a gift from her bestie Nancy Gould Chuda.

*Olivia first wore jacket worn on The Talk in 2019.

*For her investiture at the Australian Consulate's home in Los Angeles on June 12, 2019, Olivia also wore another Chanel jacket, also given to her by Nancy.

*Both jackets were later auctioned off to lucky fans at one of the Julien's auctions.

*Olivia had played tennis with Pat Farrar prior to the shoot.

*She did her own hair and make up, I remember being really impressed by the beachy waves she created in her hair, not an easy look to achieve.

*It was a large lively group watching on, Pat and John, their son Sam, my husband Rupert, Michael Caprio, with Olivia and I happily working away at creating more gorgeous images:)

ANGELS IN THE SNOW

C'est donc sur le site japonais de HMV qu'on apprend, après jane Lynch , qu'un album de Noel intitulé ANGELS IN THE SNOW est prévu pour le 22 novembre ! 

L'ancienne team d'ONJ pas très au parfum (mouais) a laissé entendre qu'il y aurait une édition CD et LP ! A part cela ... et Jane Lynch en duo sur un O Come All Ye Faithful on a pas plus d'infos pour le moment !
