Tickets went on sale Monday for a fall concert by Olivia Newton-John in Modesto, Gallo Center for the Arts announced Monday in an emailed notice.
Tickets for the Oct. 16 performance range from $49 to $99 each, depending on desired seats. Tickets closest to the stage, in the orchestra pit, are $99 each. Box seats and balcony boxes are also $99 each. Orchestra front and other orchestra seats are $89 each. Parterre seating is $69 per ticket. Grand tier balcony seats range from $49 to $89 each. Tickets may be purchased online, by phone by calling (209) 338-2100 or (877) 488-3380, or by visiting the box office at 1000 I St. in Modesto. The box office is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m.

NEVER let it be said John Farnham does not fully commit when it comes to singing Grease hits with Olivia Newton-John.
It was Farnsey, not ONJ, who donned the trademark leather pants for their joint tour, which charmed Rod Laver Arena last night.
And in a night which was full of extreme joy, the Grease songs upped the fun factor to 11.
Farnham fans disappointed by the interaction-free joint tour with Lionel Richie last year get double happiness this time around.
These long-time friends quite clearly love each other’s company and spend around half of the concert singing together. And it is wonderful each time.
Farnham steps in for Cliff Richard on ONJ’s Xanadu duet Suddenly and it’s better than the original.
Livvy subs in for all of Human Nature on Every Time You Cry and the song takes on a whole new dimension.
They turn his ballad Burn For You into a duet which brilliantly changes the dynamics and both lose themselves in the moment singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow and it’s a reminder how neither has lost any vocal power.
But it’s those Grease anthems that see the crowd finally stretch their legs — particularly Summer Nights. Farnham's loving channelling his inner Danny Zucco so much he forgets a key lyric at one point — he’s one of the few artists whose audience actually applaud that. He even busts out a few dance moves.
As any joint tour should, they bring out the best in each other.
She’s there to clean things up when Farnsey’s working a bit blue (a saucy dad joke about not being able to get up), he’s there to loosen her up as he unexpectedly jumps up behind her after their sassy mashup of Fever and Hit the Road Jack.
When another dud dad joke sees Farnham lose his spot in their stunning interpretation of Peter Allen’s Tenterfield Saddler, Livvy quickly gets him back on track (as does his trusty teleprompter — he’s the first to make jokes about having too many words to remember).
Most importantly, you’re watching two people having immense fun on stage and it’s infectious.
There’s just enough time for them to sing separately to make you miss the interactions.
We don’t get to see Olivia sing live on stage in Australia enough, and you’re truly spoiled when she’s got a huge orchestra behind her breathing new life into classics like Magic, Xanadu, Have You Never Been Mellow, I Honestly Love You, Hopelessly Devoted to You and the underrated A Little More Love.
And the trimmed-down Farnham is in his element with his mighty band (and that orchestra) powering through choice album cuts (No One Comes Close, Love to Shine) and national treasures (That’s Freedom, Pressure Down, Playing to Win and Age of Reason).
The concert ends with three things you never expected to see. There’s John Farnham, still in his leather strides, grinding against Olivia Newton-John as he takes the dirtier lines in Physical. And Livvy shines with her a cappella kick off to the national anthem You’re the Voice.
It speaks volumes about the lack of ego of these two superstars that they turned arguably their biggest individual hits into duets. And they provided the once-in-a-lifetime moments this show promised on paper.
The third surprise? Seeing Olivia Newton-John singing Bon Scott’s words on the final duet, John Farnham’s favourite rock song of all time, AC/DC’s It’s a Long Way to The Top. You can see in his face he lives for singing that song — he has always had good taste in music.
Farnham’s role as the Pope of Australian pop continues with a string of fans (politely) rushing the stage to get their hand kissed by The Voice, which he impressively manages to do while using said voice.
Forget what happened last year, this three hour hitfest may well be the most enjoyable joint tour you’ll ever see on our shores.

John Farnham and Olivia Newton-John’s Two Strong Hearts tour proved it had two voices to match as the duo set pulses racing at Sandalford Estate winery in Margaret River on Saturday night. Backed by a 60-piece orchestra, the pair opened with Two Strong Hearts, with Newton-John in a figure-hugging gold sequin dress and Farnham looking dapper in a three-piece dinner suit. Newton-John revisited her musical theatre days with a rendition of Xanadu despite battling a husky voice, then saluted the South-West by asking the crowd: “Do you have a drink? Of course you do, you’re in Margaret River. Down the hatch.” A jovial Farnham returned to the stage to belt out No One Comes Close, telling the crowd he was just getting warmed up and promising more hits to come. After “getting a sweat up”, he admitted he was “absolutely rooted ... to the spot”. But he summoned the energy for a blistering Age of Reason followed by That’s Freedom. Olivia Newton-John avait été affecté, comme bon nombre d'entre nous, par l'accident nucléaire du 11 mars 2011 qui avait touché Fukushima au Japon suite à un séisme et un tsunami. Par l'intermédiaire d'un message personnel, elle avait exprimé à l'époque son soutient aux Japonais. Dans un nouveau message de soutient elle exprime ses sincères condoléances pour ceux qui souffrent toujours et se réjouit de pouvoir chanter dans la préfecture de Fukushima.
Le 2 mai prochain elle donnera un récital intitulé "Pray For Fukushima" dans le centre culturel de la ville touchée, en marge de sa tournée japonaise qui débute le 23 avril.

Universal Studios has announced 14 of its 16 concert acts for its 2015 edition of Mardi Gras, kicking off with Olivia Newton-John on Feb. 7. The event, included in regular admission to the theme park, returns with mix of genres (pop, rock, country, hip hop) and a blend of solo acts and groups. Universal Mardi Gras, which includes a bead-intense New Orleans-style parade, runs on select dates through April 18, including two weekends where festivities will happen on three consecutive nights.

Comfortably enjoying her new home in Las Vegas, singer Olivia Newton-John is thrilled that her residency “Summer Nights” at the Flamingo has been extended through 2015. “I may have to change the name to ‘Winter Nights’ now, though,” she laughed. Expect the official announcement this morning that her show in Donny & Marie Showroom, also home of “Legends in Concert,” has been extended through at least next September. I talked with my longtime friend when she received the renewal news: “I am so looking forward to it. I’ve had a really nice time this year taking audiences on a musical journey through my life in film and music. Now we can continue for next year. “I’m loving the Flamingo, loving the stage and loving the audiences. It’s really been good.” - When you arrived here in April, “Summer Nights” was appropriate. Can it be the same show now that you’re here in the winter? To be honest, I haven’t really thought about it yet. This all just happened. We haven’t discussed if it will remain the same or I will change it. We’ll probably change a few songs, but I’ve got to do my hit songs. “Winter Nights,” can you imagine that? - What’s the experience of being in Las Vegas been like? Is it what you expected? No, it’s different than I expected it to be because it’s much more than the Strip in Las Vegas. I’m discovering the community and how much goes on, and I’m loving the countryside. We take our dogs out to Red Rock and take them hiking, and I like to get outside the city into the country. - Do you know how long the run of shows is yet? I think we’re doing them in three-week stints with tickets on sale through September for now. I am really excited because it’s been so much fun. - Does this renewal change your life as a part-time resident here?
Well, it does change your life. I have another home to add in to my list of places I live. It’s really nice being here. We have friends here already, which is lovely. Wayne Newton, who I haven’t seen in a long, long time (they finally reunited Saturday morning at the 2014 Great Santa Run), he has horses and has invited me to ride them, so I’m looking forward to going to see them.
My friend Susan George is coming out for New Year, as I have two shows Dec. 31. We’ll both go to see Wayne — hopefully he’ll be in town so we can go see his horses because she brings ours out, too. She has a beautiful breeding facility. - Have you ever worked with Wayne anywhere ? No, we’ve never sung together. I’m going to invite him to the show and have him come onstage as a Thunderbird. That would be fun. I think he’d be amazing. - What’s the main thing you’ve loved about working and living in Las Vegas? Being in the same bed every night instead of traveling. Having consistency of a wonderful crew. I’ve got my own soundmen, so it’s always the same. I’ve never had a routine before. This time I’m getting picked up, and I go to work and it’s wonderful. When you’re touring, you’re on a bus, you’re on a plane, and it’s different every day. There’s excitement in that, but it’s much more wearing than being in one place. I like being here, and now I’m here for next year.
