Australian icon Olivia NewtonJohn turns 70 on Sept. 26. The Grease star recently talked about battling cancer for the third time. After beating breast cancer, Olivia was diagnosed with cancer in her shoulder in 2013, which she decided to keep a secret and now the disease has spread to her spine. “I’m still treating it, and I’m treating it naturally and doing really well,” she told Sunday Night last week. Olivia also said she was using cannabis oil and has cut sugar out from her diet to help reduce pain and aid healing. “A lot of cannabis my husband grows for me. In California, it’s legal to grow a certain amount of plants for your own medicinal purposes. He makes me tinctures … and they help with pain, they help with sleep. So, I’m very lucky that I live in a state where it’s legal and that I have a husband that is a plant medicine man.”
The singer returned to Australia last week to attend her Wellness Walk in Melbourne where she raises funds for the ONJ Research and Wellness Centre.
