La sublime Jane Seymour a toujours eu des mots tendre à l'encontre de son amie Olivia Newton-John !!
The late Olivia Newton-John, who sadly passed away aged 73 in August last year, was one of her first friends in Hollywood. Jane praises Olivia for spending her final months helping others.
She says: "She was an incredible inspiration to me, how she opened up about what it is to have cancer. About surviving and thriving and dealing with the ups and downs of her life. I had this extraordinary privilege of knowing her, not so much as an actress and a star, but as a human being. When I meet women like that, they are the women I am excited by."

Olivia Newton-John’s daughter made a promise to her mother before she died -- and she plans to keep it.
Chloe Lattanzi and Newton-John’s widower, John Easterling, sat down for a pre-taped interview with Today’s Hoda Kotb, which aired on Friday, March 3.
The 58-year-old newswoman has been noticeably absent from live segments of the NBC morning show for more than a week. Kotb's co-anchors shared earlier this week that she is "OK," but is dealing with "a family health matter," and during Friday's episode, Sheinelle Jones introduced Kotb's interview saying her co-anchor "recently" spoke to Newton-John's family.
Lattanzi told Kotb she will return to Newton-John’s native Australia in October for the singer’s annual Walk for Wellness, an event that brings people together to support those with cancer.

Peter Ford: Details around Olivia Newton-John’s memorial service revealed
On Monday morning, he told Gareth Parker on 6PR Breakfast that the plans for Olivia Newton-John’s State Memorial are being finalised.
“It’s two months now since Olivia passed, and a lot of people have been saying why hasn’t it happened,” he said.
“There has been some differences of opinion between the family in America and the organisers here as to what exactly should be done.”

I find myself at a loss as to what to say. “Death”….well, he is a vicious enemy and all of us will be taken by him. But all of us are not taken by him at the same time and so while Olivia remains in our minds and memories, she remains very much alive!!
I’m just one of an army of lucky people who knew and loved her. How could we not love her? She was gorgeous, gifted and had a heart of Gold. Also, a bunch of records that were Gold, but her Golden Heart is her legacy to us.
When she was first diagnosed with cancer Livvy put her career on hold for years. Why? Because she wanted to inspire other sufferers to do as she did…fight the ugly disease, although she said in one interview that she wasn’t in a battle with cancer just that she had something that she simply wanted to get rid of!
Olivia always had an up-beat approach to life. Only three weeks ago I was on the phone to her, and she was her bright positive self and I never thought for one moment of that call that I would be writing this and acknowledging her death. I hate that word!
From now on I will only believe that our gorgeous Olivia simply stopped living. I will miss her. The world will miss her, so let’s all keep her alive in our hearts and memories.
God bless you Livvy.

Yes! In fact, she’s just sent me flowers for my birthday – a bouquet that’s almost as big as my table! She was my first real friend when I first came to America and we’ve been besties since 1976! She’s fighting an incredible battle with her health and she’s just my inspiration. You could not ask for a better ambassador for your country.

OLIVIA Newton-John got physical with actress Jane Seymour at a glitzy Hollywood event this week.
The Grease star, 70, who is battling cancer for the third time, looked radiant at the Industry Dance Awards and Cancer Benefit Show, in Los Angeles.
The singer-actress, who received a Lifetime Achievement Award, was upbeat despite having fractured her pelvis in recent months after bone cancer spread to her sacrum.
Olivia said: “I just want everyone to know I’m here, I’m doing great. I’m doing really well and I’m really healthy.
“It was a challenging year because I broke my sacrum and I had to learn to walk again and everything. But I am strong and I am back and I’m feeling good and loving every minute.”
After receiving a donation for the Cancer Wellness and Research Centre in her native Australia, Olivia said: “It’s such an honour, and I am so grateful to receive that amazing cheque for my cancer wellness centre.”
She told how the money will help to support many people “going through their cancer journey”.
Olivia fought breast cancer in 1992 and in 2013 and last year had radiation therapy.
