Queen, kd lang, Alice Cooper et Olivia Newton-John sont les premières stars annoncées pour le concert  Fire Fight Australia !

Queen et Adam Lambert, kd lang et Alice Cooper font partie des artistes internationaux qui se joindront à des dizaines de stars australiennes pour le concert de Fire Fight Australia le 16 février. !

Le premier line-up annoncé lundi confirme les performances d'Amy Shark, Baker Boy, Conrad Sewell, Daryl Braithwaite, Delta Goodrem, Grinspoon, Guy Sebastian, Hilltop Hoods, Icehouse, Illy, Jessica Mauboy, John Farnham, Lee Kernaghan, Olivia Newton-John, Peking Duk, Pete Murray, Tina Arena et William Barton.

Le concert au stade ANZ de Sydney sera organisé par la comédienne Celeste Barber dont la collecte de fonds sur Facebook pour les secours contre les feux de brousse a dépassé les 50 millions de dollars le week-end dernier.

Delta Goodrem interprétera la chanson Let It Rain, titre qu'elle a écrite en désespoir de cause alors que l'urgence du feu de brousse traversait les communautés de NSW et de Victoria le soir du Nouvel An.
La chanson est allé directement au top des charts iTunes quand elle l'a publié la semaine dernière, faisant don de ses bénéfices nets à l'effort de secours.



"La musique est incroyablement puissante et curative", a déclaré Goodrem. «Surtout quand nous nous réunissons tous dans le même lieu. Tout le monde a la même intention, tout le monde sera là pour la même raison. »

Goodrem n'a pas exclu un éventuel duo avec son héroïne Olivia Newton-John ! Les 2 femmes se parlent régulièrement !
"Ce n'est que le début, mais ce serait merveilleux de collaborer", a déclaré Goodrem. "Je suis juste heureuse de la voir de retour sur scène."
Newton-John avait interprété quelques duos avec la star des Bee Gees Barry Gibb lors du concert Sound Relief en 2009 au profit des victimes des feux de brousse à Victoria et pour les victimes des inondations du Queensland.

The 8 year old girl in me is flipping out! My favorite movie growing up was Grease (by far) and I am a HUGE Olivia Newton John fan. In fact, she actually sang at my wedding (that’s another story). Anyway, when I heard her iconic leggings from the movie were up for auction and all the proceeds were going to charity, I had to bid! Well..I WON! These pants are not only iconic but they were the inspiration behind the @spanx faux leather leggings and will proudly hang in our office. That said, these pants represent way more to me than just leggings. They are a reminder that young girls everywhere with big dreams...can have their dreams come true. They represent opportunity, hard work and resiliency.
