AUSTRALIA’S biggest names came together for the annual G’Day USA gala in Los Angeles to raise money for bushfire relief.
Olivia Newton-John was reunited with her Grease costar and “honorary” Aussie, John Travolta, at the star-studded event, which was also attended by Naomi Watts, Delta Goodrem, Jacki Weaver, Mortal Kombat’s Jessica McNamee and Adelaide’s Hugh Sheridan.
“This one feels extra special because it’s not just patting each other on the back, it’s helping the whole country,” says Olivia, above, who walked the blue carpet with hubby John Easterling and niece Tottie Goldsmith.
John says he wants Americans to know it’s still okay for people to go to Australia.
“We’ve got Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne. People can still visit. It’s still a beautiful country,” he says.
The gala came after Olivia revealed her cancer tumours have shrunk, and she plans to return to the stage at the Fire Fight Australia benefit in Sydney on February 16.
