Indigo: Women of Song a été publié pour la première fois par Festival Mushroom Records le 17 octobre 2004 en Australie. 

Cet album de reprises de chansons précédemment enregistrées par des chanteuses  a été entièrement produit par Phil Ramone. 

Indigo: Women of Song a culminé à la 15e place de l’Australian Albums Chart et a finalement été certifié disque d’or par l’Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA).

This new deluxe reissue combines all of the various editions into one all encompassing, definitive version.
