C'est qu'on s'inquiète .. après .. on oublie qu'Olivia n'a plus 20 ans et que cet exercice de style ( 2 heures à parler du passé ) peut être très fatiguant .. en tout cas la rumeur va bon train ...

Fifteen months after she announced her breast cancer had returned and spread, mystery surrounds the sudden cancellation of Olivia Newton-John’s two-date Australian tour next month.

The spoken word tour was announced only three weeks ago.

On August 13, the four-time Grammy winner tweeted that she was “excited to see everyone” at her ‘In Conversation’ gigs in Melbourne and Sydney.

Newton-John was due to speak on stage with journalist Ray Martin, in what the show’s promoter Lateral Events described as Newton-John “re-living her extraordinary life.”

But on Wednesday, a short announcement on the promoter’s website confirmed “with regret” the shows are off for “reasons beyond our control”.

OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN’s spoken word tour has been cancelled — three weeks after it was announced.
The singer (inset) was due to take part in an “In Conversation” event with RAY MARTIN as host in Melbourne on September 14. Promoters have stated the shows have been cancelled “for reasons beyond our control”. While the “In Conversation” shows will not take place, NewtonJohn will still head to Australia in mid-September for her annual Wellness Walk to raise money for her Cancer and Wellness Centre and plug her autobiography, Don’t Stop Believin’.

Olivia Newton-John et John Travolta ont exécuté quelques pas de danse avant d’assister à une projection du film.

IL A AUJOURD’HUI
64 ans et elle 69 ans. Il y a quarante ans, leur jeunesse et leur fougue sensuelle portées aux nues dans le film « Grease » enflammaient une génération. Pour fêter cet anniversaire, l’Académie des Oscars à Los Angeles a invité cette semaine Olivia Newton-John et John Travolta à marquer le coup.

Devant la presse, les anciens tourtereaux de la comédie musicale culte sortie en juin 1978 — elle vêtue de rose et lui de noir, leurs couleurs dans le film — ont mimé quelques pas de danse de la chorégraphie finale, « You’re the One that I Want ». John Travolta a rappelé que c’est lui qui avait suggéré à la production d’aller chercher l’actrice angloaustralienne pour incarner Sandy car « tous les hommes n’avaient qu’un seul rêve : que cette fille soit leur petite amie ».

Olivia Newton-John, elle, a confié avoir hésité à participer au casting avant que John en personne ne vienne en émissaire : « Je ne pouvais pas lui dire non, n’est-ce pas ? Cet homme magnifique marchait vers moi, ses yeux bleus brillaient et il était si doux… »
