L'enseigne ROUGH TRADE USA propose à la préco l'album vinyle de ANGELS IN THE SNOW  !  Date de sortie ... le 22 novembre ... à mon avis ça n'est pas la bonne date ... à suivre donc ! 

Une édition blanche comme la neige !!

Jane Lynch est un peu perdue dans cette production un peu trop prononcée ... mais ça le mérite de ne pas être plombant et j'adore comment ça bouscule les codes ! 

c'est fun !

On aura donc 10 titres retravaillés ...mon gros bémol ...ne pas avoir rajouté en bonus le titre MY DREAM !! C'est nul ! ... et la pochette avec cette photo de 1973 par Linchfield et colorisée ...hum .. c'est pas des plus beaux effets !

HAPPY 20 YEARS BIRTHDAY

Indigo : Women of Song  a été publié pour la première fois par Festival Mushroom Records le 17 octobre 2004 en Australie. 

Album de reprises de chansons précédemment enregistrées par des chanteuses, il a été entièrement produit par Phil Ramone. 

Indigo : Women of Song a atteint la 15e place de l’Australian Albums Chart et a finalement été certifié disque d’or par l’Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA).En Angleterre, l'album a atteint la 27ème position.

Aux États-Unis, l’album a été publié sous le titre Portraits – A Tribute to Great Women of Song, avec différentes illustrations. L’album est finalement sorti au Japon en 2006 sous le label Universal Music.

C'est donc sur le site japonais de HMV qu'on apprend, après jane Lynch , qu'un album de Noel intitulé ANGELS IN THE SNOW est prévu pour le 22 novembre ! 

L'ancienne team d'ONJ pas très au parfum (mouais) a laissé entendre qu'il y aurait une édition CD et LP ! A part cela ... et Jane Lynch en duo sur un O Come All Ye Faithful on a pas plus d'infos pour le moment !

The music of late Britain-born star Olivia Newton-John lives on, even after she died in 2022 after a 30-year battle with cancer.

Hosted by her niece Tottie Goldsmith, this show celebrates the life and legacy of the singer-actress, who was raised in Australia. It will feature live renditions of her biggest hits such as Physical (1981), I Honestly Love You (1974) and Hopelessly Devoted To You (1978).

The Australian talents singing the songs will be backed by Singapore’s Base Philharmonic Orchestra, helmed by conductor Jessica Gethin.

Goldsmith says in a statement: “I’m really excited to be collaborating with the Base Philharmonic

ONJ’S FAMILY KEEP LEGACY ALIVE

Chloe Lattanzi is feeling electric vibes as she gears up for Sunday’s Olivia’s Walk for Wellness fundraiser.

The annual event, in its 11th year continuing the legacy of her late mother Olivia Newton-John, has a theme this year of Let’s Get Physical – a nod to Olivia’s famous 1981 single.

“It’s a party with a purpose, it feels lighter and exciting and I’ve got my music out to do something so close to her heart,’’ Lattanzi said.

“It really has an electric vibe this time and my mum just loved this day.”

The walk has raised a collective $12m and supported more than 30,000 people through the wellness programs at the Olivia Newton-John Cancer & Wellness Centre (ONJ Centre).

Newton-John’s husband John Easterling will join Lattanzi and thousands of people taking part through

Alexandra Gardens – all are encouraged to don their best ’80s gear and bring along their furry friends.

“We are really opening our arms to the entire city, bring your dogs too, and it should be an extraordinary day,’’ Easterling said.

“These programs, from massages to music therapy, mean so much to so many people and are making a lifechanging difference,” he said.

Lattanzi is visiting the ONJ Centre on Friday.

“I really love going there and the love carries me through,’’ she said.

“It’s so powerful and I feel so overwhelmed with gratitude at how much support and kindness is delivered my way and John’s way,” she said.

“It seems to grow so much, it’s unreal and it was a part of what carried me through some deep, dark times of grief. That’s what my mum was all about – love and light.
