The Industry Dance Awards & Cancer Benefit Show

Olivia Newton-John, radieuse sur le tapis rouge, était l'une des invitées d'honneur de la soirée «Industry Dance Awards & Cancer Benefit Show», où elle a reçu un "Lifetime Achievement Award" et un don pour son Cancer Wellness & Research Centre en Australie.

"C'est un tel honneur et je suis très reconnaissante de recevoir cet incroyable chèque pour mon centre de cancérologie", a t-elle confié au micro de E.T . "Cela aidera beaucoup de personnes a travers les programmes de bien être. cela les aidera à lutter contre le cancer."

Olivia Newton-John a déclaré qu'une partie de l'argent irait aux "programmes de bien-être" du centre, qui incluent "la méditation et le yoga, les thérapies de groupe, la musicothérapie et l'acupuncture", entre autres choses, et "l'autre moitié ira à la recherche".

"C'est comme ça que nous le faisons et c'est merveilleux. C'est merveilleux d'avoir une passion", a-t-elle ajouté.

"Chaque jour est un cadeau, nous ne savons pas vraiment combien de temps dure notre vie", a-t-elle déclaré. "Je suis très reconnaissante et j'ai l'intention d'être ici pendant longtemps. J'ai encore beaucoup à faire."

The celebrated singer, dancer and actress was all smiles on the red carpet at this year's Industry Dance Awards & Cancer Benefit Show at the Avalon Theater in Hollywood on Wednesday, where she spoke with ET about how she's been feeling following her recent emotional reveal that she's living with stage 4 cancer and working hard to enjoy life to the fullest.

"I just want everyone to know, I'm here, I'm doing great," Newton-John, 70, told ET's Keltie Knight at the star-studded event. "I'm doing really well and I'm really healthy."

"It was a challenging year because I broke my sacrum and I had to learn to walk again and everything," she continued. "But I am strong and I am back and I'm feeling good and loving every minute."




Newton-John was one of the night's guests of honor at the celeb-packed Industry Dance Awards & Cancer Benefit Show, where she received a Lifetime Achievement Award, and was presented with a donation for the Cancer Wellness & Research Center in Australia.

"It's such an honor, and I am so grateful to receive that amazing check for my cancer wellness center," Newton-John marveled. "That it will help so many people with the programs to support them going through their cancer journey."

Newton-John said some of the money will be going to the center's "wellness programs" which include "meditation and yoga and group therapies and music therapy and acupuncture" among other things, and "the other half will be going to research."

"That's how we do it and it's wonderful. It's wonderful to have a passion," she added.

Portant un énorme sourire sur son visage, Olivia était belle en posant pour les caméras et accessoirisée avec un collier de perles élégant et des boucles d'oreilles en argent.

Olivia Newton-John a choisi de garder ses mèches blondes et droites dans son style habituel et a ajouté une touche de couleur avec une touche de rouge à lèvre rose tendre !

Julianne Hough admits she feels a lot of pressure going into Fox's upcoming live production of Grease, but she's taking a lot of pride in the stamp of approval she's received from former Sandy Olivia Newton-John.

"It's huge that I got her blessing," Hough, 27, says in the current issue of PEOPLE of Newton-John, who starred opposite John Travolta in the 1978 film version of the musical.

Hough, 27, got the chance to chat Newton-John, 67, in October when the Australian actress and singer guest-judged alongside her on Dancing with the Stars.

"She's exactly who you hope she would be – so awesome and supportive," Hough says of Newton-John. Stepping into Sandy's iconic sneakers (and red-hot heels) has been a life-long dream for Hough.

"Grease was the first movie that I saw that I realized you could sing and dance and act all in the same movie," she says.

But don't expect her to present be a carbon copy of Newton-John's performance when she goes live Jan. 31 on Fox.

She has specific moments in the film, like 'Tell me about it, stud,' where I know people will be disappointed if I don't say it like she did with her inflection," she says. "But for the most part, I am doing my own thing."

Grease: Live airs Sunday, Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. ET on Fox.

Hough is playing Sandy in Fox's upcoming live version of Grease, so meeting the woman who played her in the 1978 musical must have been pretty surreal. Newton-John turned up to help judge Dancing With the Stars this week, a totally fitting challenge, since the theme was about iconic movie and music video dances.

Julianne Hough : My favorite moment on Dancing With The Stars last night was… hmmmmm let me think about it… what could it be?? OH YEAH — OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN (AHHHHHHH!) I was incredibly honored to sit next to Olivia (can I call her Olivia?) at the judges table.

Grease has been my favorite musical since always! It actually inspired me to become an entertainer. I’m still pinching myself over the fact that I have the opportunity to play Sandy in Grease Live on Fox on January 31.

You can imagine how surreal it was sitting beside her. I’ll always remember last night!
