«Je mentirais si je dis que ce n'était pas effrayant»: Olivia Newton-John sera réconforté par Karl Stefanovic dans une interview chargée d'émotions pour l'émission australienne 60 minutes !
Dans un aperçu de l'interview réalisé il y a peu dans son SPA GAIA Retreat et qui sera diffusé dimanche prochain, l'artiste emblématique est visiblement tendue tout en discutant de l'apparition d'un 2ème cancer et l'effet qu'il a eu sur sa famille.
"Bien sûr, que ça fait peur, je mentirais si je dis que ce n'était pas effrayant, mais j'ai l'intention d'être en bonne santé", a t-elle dit.
Lorsqu'elle regarde les choses du bon coté Olivia Newton-John relativise : «J'ai eu et j'ai une vie étonnante, alors ... tout le monde passe par quelque chose».
Olivia reste optimiste en disant: "Je vais bien" !

Olivia Newton-John has opened up about her second cancer battle in a revealing new interview with 60 Minutes.
The Australian star, 68, was comforted by Karl Stefanovic as she spoke openly about her health, fears and impact on her family in the emotional interview, to air on Sunday night.
“Of course it’s scary, I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t scary but I intend to be healthy,” Newton-John told Stefanovic.
“I’ve had and I’m having an amazing life, so... everyone goes through something.
”I’m doing OK.”
Asked by Stefanovic what it was like to tell her daughter, Chloe, Newton-John said: “Well that was, yeah, that wasn’t easy”.
In a teaser released by Nine, Stefanovic can be seen comforting Newton-John, walking arm-in-arm with her.
60 Minutes has labelled it the “interview of the year”.
Newton-John is facing her second battle with the disease 25 years after her first breast cancer diagnosis, this time in a bone at the base of her spine.
“I kind of felt innately that something wasn’t right, this pain had been going on for a long time,” Newton-John told The Sunday Telegraph this week, in her first Australian interview since her diagnosis.
“It wasn’t a total surprise, it wasn’t a total shock — probably not the same as the first time.”
She revealed she is using medicinal marijuana as part of her treatment.
“I use medicinal cannabis, which is really important for pain and healing,” she told the Sunday Telegraph.
“It’s a plant that has been maligned for so long, and has so many abilities to heal.”
Newton-John says she will champion its use in Australia, where medicinal use was allowed by the federal government earlier this year.
Obtaining the necessary permission — as well as the cannabis itself — is still a long, complicated process and can vary state to state, according to the Daily Telegraph.

joins Olivia Newton John’s fundraising effort for cancer research after his own health scare

AUSTRALIAN pop great Daryl Braithwaite says his recent cancer journey will make his performance at the ONJ Gala poignant and emotional.
“It’s a rude awakening when you’re told you might have cancer,” Braithwaite said. “It’s that moment of truth when a surgeon tells you it’s benign or malignant. Fortunately, mine was benign.”
Braithwaite, who will perform at the ONJ Gala in Melbourne tomorrow alongside John Farnham and Dami Im, underwent surgery last December to have a tumour removed from his stomach.
The gala, hosted by Olivia Newton-John, raises money for the ONJ Cancer, Wellness and Research Centre.
