DVD features her Emmy-winning 1982 US TV special ‘Act One’ including special guests Kenny Rogers and Al Jarreau, plus all the promo videos from the album.

 27 juin 1998, la nouvelle version de I HONESTLY LOVE YOU se hisse à la 21ème place du classement  BILLBOARD ADULT CONTEMPORARY  et à la 16ème du classement des meilleures ventes de singles Country ! L'album BACK WITH A HEART ne rencontre pas le succès escompté ! 

Et pourtant l'album était vraiment excellent !

En Face B du single I HONESTLY LOVE YOU .. on trouvait sa reprise de WHAT'S FOREVER FOR !

Il existe 2 versions ... avec des arrangements un tantinet différents ! C'est dommage que personne .. vraiment personne les rendent disponibles sur les plateformes de Streaming !! On ne pense pas "fans" mais grand public !! argent argent !!

La discographie de Belinda Carlisle n'a jamais été aussi bien mise en valeur par nos amis anglais !! Le groupe DEMON MUSIC GROUP sort le 1er septembre un joli coffret / livre avec 4 de ses albums les plus emblématiques ! 

A croire qu'Olivia n'a pas fait le bon choix ! J'aimerais bien voir ce genre d'objet dans ma collection .. la concernant ! 

A l'heure ou les "d'jeunes" consomment du streaming .. les vieux eux, se jettent toujours sur du physique !! et le public d'Olivia est un peu vieillissant non ? et donc ..... ?

LA CRITIQUE DE KAY

There are worse books about Olivia Newton-John than this one. But her autobiography in English (please don't buy the horrible German translation!!) "Don't Stop Believin'" is unrivaled and even better as an audio book recorded by the artist herself! Miranda Young tries to come up with copied and plagiarized praise from the Internet. Of course, some of this is true, but citing Wikipedia as a trustworthy source, for example, is somewhat unprofessional - if not cheeky! Any Olivia fan could have done the research better and also avoided the many oversights, information gaps and wrong dates. The unreasonably high price is a bad investment and you are better off buying the Primary Wave releases by Olivia Newton-John. The 4 photo pages are also disappointing, as the pictures are well known and anything but rare. After T. Ewbank's "Olivia" and G. Branson-Trent's "More than Physical", this work can join the ranks of expendables. Too bad, because I would have expected a lot more from an Australian music journalist!  😇

C'est l'adaptation cinématographique de la comédie musicale du même nom créée par Jim Jacobs et Warren Casey en 1972 à Broadway. 

 Le film est sorti sur les écrans américains un 16 juin 1978.

THE UK-born actress, who grew up in shot Australia, to stardom as Sandy in the film and on to have went a successful career as a pop singer. But while she had professional success, marriage her to Matt Lattanzi broke down and they divorced in 1995 after 11 years.

Her next long-term relationship also when soured Patrick McDermott went on a fishing in California trip in 2005 and mysteriously disappeared. While it was thought he was it lost at sea, was later reported he’d done a bunk to to avoid Mexico paying a string of debts.

A fortnight after her dad died of

1992, cancer in Olivia was also diagnosed. She had partial mastectomy a and battled breast cancer three times before her death last year aged 73.

Complete Studio Albums & Rarities est un nouveau coffret de 10 CD contenant la production solo de Stevie Nicks. L’auteure-compositrice-interprète a sorti huit albums solo depuis 1981 et a été la première femme intronisée au Rock and Roll Hall of Fame à deux reprises, d’abord en tant que membre de Fleetwood Mac, puis en tant qu’artiste solo en 2019.

Le coffret comprend huit albums , dont la moitié a été remasterisée .  De plus, ce coffret comprend deux CD de Rarities; 23 enregistrements difficiles à trouver, y compris des pistes hors album telles que des contributions au cinéma et à la télévision et des faces B. Ceux-ci ont également été remasterisés. En plus du coffret 10CD, il y aura une édition limitée de 16LP, mais qui sera exclusive à Rhino.com. Street Angel, Trouble in Shangri-La et In Your Dreams seront édités pour la première fois en vinyle dans le cadre de cet ensemble. Le paquet de raretés sera un ensemble de 3LP dans ce qui est un coffret en vinyle transparent

Le 21 juillet prochain, le label anglais FM concerts sort un bootleg contenant quelques titres d'Olivia Newton-John extraits d'émissions TV anglaises ou américaines ! Le tracklisting est certes alléchant ... la qualitée sonore laisse peut être à désirer .... 

Olivia Newton-John n'est pas la seule artiste à voir ce genre de cd apparaitre sur le marché !!  On peut trouver ce bootleg chez HMV ou chez d'autres enseignes anglaises ....

From appearances on the classic US TV shows Midnight Special and the Mike Douglas Show to her own 1977 UK TV special, Only Olivia, she regaled studio audiences - including, for the latter, lucky members of the official Olivia Newton-John fan club - with a range of country-pop favourites (If You Love Me Let Me Know, Take Me Home Country Roads) and love ballads (Have You Never Been Mellow, I Honestly Love You), cementing her place as one of the era's most beloved entertainers. 

 Her life-changing role as Sandy, in the film adaptation of Grease, was just around the corner, but vintage performances such as these serve as a reminders that Newton-John had reached the heights of fame before those high-school hand jives and summer-night anthems. Double CD format.
