GRAND RAPIDS, MI - Shoppers got a surprise as they turned down the aisle of the Cascade Meijer on Monday, Oct. 10.
Olivia Newton-John was autographing wine bottles.
The singer and actress was visiting the Meijer to promote her new line of wine, Pink & Blue for Two.
The brand started by Newton-John's nephew, race car driver Emerson Newton-John, raises money for early detection of breast and prostate cancer.
A portion of the proceeds from the wine goes to the Pink & Blue campaign, while another portion goes to Newton-John's Cancer Wellness and Research Centre in Australia.
"The idea is for couples to encourage each other to screen," said Newton-John. "It's for women to do their regular breast exams and for men to their checkups and to be aware that early detection is key."
