Le premier est extrait de la bande originale du film TWO OF A KIND.
Notre Prima-donna de la pop partageait cette composition en 1983 avec son Johnny de Travolta, le tout saupoudré par une instrumentation discrète de David Foster. Cette chanson est aussi une étroite collaboration d'Olivia avec David et Steve Lukather.

The title with discreet instrumentation was written by Olivia together with longtime Producer David Foster and well-known Top-Guitarist Steve Lukather.

The Best Of Me sera le premier single extrait du premier album solo de Foster réalisé en 1986.
Olivia venait à peine d'accoucher de sa fille Chloe Lattanzi.
David lui avait éte aussi très actif après avoir composé la bande du film St Elmosts Fire en 1985 et le 14ème album du groupe Chicago en 1984.
The Best Of Me est donc une jolie ballade composé par David avec Richard Marx et Jeremy Lubbock.
