Après cette idée folle qui laissait entendre que SANDY était morte au début du film GREASE, Jim Jacobs (qui a écrit le scénario et la musique de la pièce avec Warren Casey) vient de démonter cette hypothèse en stipulant que la personne qui avait lancé cette rumeur devait être sous acide !!

Au site PEOPLE il a rassuré les fans en précisant que Sandy était plus que bien vivante !

Ouf !! nous voila donc soulagé !

Grease creator Jim Jacobs has debunked one of the more bizarre fan theories around his beloved creation: Namely, that Sandy(Olivia Newton John) went into a coma in the drowning accident alluded to in "Summer Nights" and the entire film is a fantasy that takes place in her mind.

Jim Jacobs, who wrote the original Grease book and musical with Warren Casey, spoke to TMZ about the rumor and suggested that whomever came up with the Sandy-is-dead rumor "must have been on acid."

"Sandy was very much alive," at the movie's end, he confirms, putting the final nail in the coffin of this bizarre scenario.
