JUST THE TWO OF US VOLUME 2

J'adore être contredit .. surtout pour ce genre de chose ! Hé ben voila ! Enfinnnn on a une date précise .. 

La small critique pour la pochette : Franchement .. j'adore la photo de Robert Lynden ... déjà utilisée pour l'intérieur du volume 1 et époque LIV ON ...mais Olivia Newton-John mérite vraiment mieux que du recyclage !! Vous n'avez pas d'autres matériaux ?  

Premier duo "laché" le "I' M COUNTING ON YOU" extrait initialement de l'album (2) avec JOHNNY O'KEEFE .. ça va pas faire le buzz tout ça ! 

Pour info, Johnny O'Keefe est un chanteur australien de Rock'n'Roll décédé en 1978 ! Olivia avait donc réalisé un duo virtuel !

Autre sacrée déception ..mais une grande ... ça n'est plus 15 duos comme "annoncé" ??? mais plus que 11 ??!! Les plateformes numériques n'affichent que 11 pistes !   sérieux !! gros foutage de g***** !! 

Hé oui 17 + 11 ça ne fait plus 32 duos ! 

Aucunes surprises ! Même pas l'autre duo avec Paul Anka "Do I love You" ! J'aurais tant aimé y voir le Valentine avec Brickman ou le Never Never Never avec Engelbert ... mais non !!  J'ai comme une impression qu'ils ne savent pas quoi faire du catalogue musical d'Olivia ! Moi j'ai honte de voir ce volume 2 si amaigri ! C'est quoi le but ? tout faire au moindre cout pour se faire plus de blé ? Et c'est quoi le cœur de cible à part les fans ? Aux USA qui se souvient de tous ces artistes ? En France .. n'en parlons même pas ! De toute manière l'album sera importé ... enfin bref en résumé c'est vraiment du grand n'importe quoi ! Je reste poli ....

Claire’s AI Steps FOR success COVERS QUEEN

STEPS star Claire Richards wants the band to use AI to help make their next LP as

“any kind of intelligence would be helpful”.

Like a lot of pop stars Claire is concerned about the rise of artificial intelligence but believes uncertainty is the biggest issue.

Back with new solo LP Euphoria tomorrow, she told me: “It’s a world I haven’t delved too deeply into yet, it’s quite scary.

“But any kind of intelligence would be helpful, especially when you’re going through the menopause, help with the brain fog would be great! I know you can write songs but how does it get around the ‘seven consecutive note rule’ so it doesn’t rip off another song? Then you’d get sued.”

AI was not used on Euphoria, which is a banging collection of covers by her all-time favourite singers.

Claire explained: “It all started from a conversation about where my voice came from. When I first started I was very proper, a bit like Julie Andrews and more musical theatre.

“Listening to these amazing vocalists influenced my tastes and I started copying how they did things and somehow made the voice you have now which fits into the pop music world.

“It was really about celebrating those women and how I could attack those songs.”

And her fanbase might explode when they hear her joyous version of the Olivia Newton-John camp classic Xanadu.

She laughed: “That’s the one I’ve had the most messages about, so I really hope I’ve done it justice. It’s obviously one that means a lot to people especially now Olivia has passed away. I wanted to include it as a tribute.

“My version is more bouncy than the original.”

Ma critique ?? J'adore !! Habituellement je n'aime pas trop les reprises des tubes d'ONJ ... Sa reprise claque, c'est fun, vachement "bouncy" !! Bravo !! reste à découvrir le reste de l'album !!
