After watching Olivia Newton-John perform six songs on TV, British viewers voted by mail for her to sing “Long Live Love” at the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest. She lost to Sweden’s ABBA, whose “Waterloo” went on to become a global hit.  

Après avoir regardé Olivia Newton-John interpréter six chansons à la télévision, les téléspectateurs britanniques ont voté par courrier pour qu'elle chante «Long Live Love» au Concours Eurovision de la chanson 1974. Elle a perdu contre les suédois ABBA, dont «Waterloo» est devenu un succès mondial.
