DAMN OLIVIA !

Olivia Newton-John has revealed she has declined continuous offers to be on Dancing With the Stars, and is instead happy to watch daughter Chloe Lattazi in the cast.
“There’s been offers over the years, I couldn’t do it now,” Newton-John told Confidential.

“I’m happy to just be the mum and watch Chloe do it and support her. I’ve already done my own Dancing With the Stars. I danced with Gene Kelly and John Travolta! I did the original Dancing With the Stars!”
Newton-John danced with Kelly in cult classic Xanadu, which turns 40 this year. The singer met with Patrica Ward-Kelly, Gene’s wife and biographer, in Melbourne this week and Patricia’s one woman show Gene Kelly: The Legacy takes place at the Recital Centre on Thursday.

UK-born Newton-John was made a Dame on December 27 for services to Charity, to Cancer Research and to Entertainment. “I did not expect that,” she said. “No one’s calling me Dame Olivia. Maybe Damn Olivia! I got a letter from England addressed to Dame Olivia, because it’s courtesy over there, but they don’t really do that in America and I don’t really expect to be called Dame Olivia. But it’s a lovely honour.”

The 71-year-old will perform a duet with John Farnham at this Sunday’s Fire Fight Australia concert, which will be broadcast live on Channel 7 and Foxtel.
She is also planning to catch up with friend Delta Goodrem – and has now seen Hopelessly Devoted to You miniseries.

“I’ve seen bits of it, not all of it. Delta does a great job. It’s hard to think ‘That’s me’, watching something based on your life is kind of bizarre but she did a really wonderful job.”
While Newton-John has no plans to tour, fans will hear her on Barry Gibb’s new country album – recording a song she originally sang as a duet with Barry’s late brother Andy.

“This was too important not to be a part of, so I’m thrilled,” she said.

( Au choix nous avons REST YOUR LOVE ON ME ou I CAN'T HELP IT ! ... mouais ..

BIRTHDAY

Olivia Newton-John y partage 2 duos : REST YOUR LOVE ON ME & I CAN'T HELP IT !

RETRO CHARTS
