Olivia Newton-John has returned to Australia to participate in the Wellness Walk and Research Run, and is overjoyed she's well enough to partake in the event this year.
"It means the world to me that I'm really feeling wonderful and strong again. And last year I was in hospital, the day after the walk," the Australian singer and actress told Today.
"Last year I couldn't walk it, but this year I can!"
Battling stage four cancer, Newton-John recovered in her namesake wellness centre in Melbourne. While marred with ill health, it was an enlightening experience for her. "In this beautiful facility that I was able to experience and realise how important the wellness centre was to my recovery," she said.
In addition to the fundraiser walk, Newton-John is also auctioning off some of her most iconic outfits, including her leather pants and jacket from Grease.
Incredibly, the pants still fit her. "I got them on - much to my amazement," the performer laughed.
The auction will take place in Los Angeles and online, with Newton-John hopeful it will raise a pretty penny.
"We are just looking for a couple of billionaires!" she said, ever the optimist. "I don't want to put a limit on what I want. So, I'm just going to say keep going with the millions.
"I hope that we raise a fortune. That's what we need to provide the end to cancer. I don't think there is anybody in Australia that hasn't been touched by cancer in some way."
The beloved star finished the interview promising to spend more time in Australia. We'll keep our fingers crossed!

"L'année dernière, je ne pouvais pas marcher, mais cette année, je le peux!"
Luttant contre le cancer au stade quatre, Newton-John s'est retrouvée dans son centre de bien-être éponyme à Melbourne. Bien que sa santé ait été entachée de maladie, ce fut une expérience enrichissante pour elle. "Dans ce bel établissement que j'ai pu expérimenter et réaliser à quel point le centre de bien-être était important pour mon rétablissement", a-t-elle déclaré.
En plus de la marche de collecte de fonds, Newton-John met également aux enchères certaines de ses tenues les plus emblématiques, y compris son pantalon en cuir et sa veste de Grease.
Incroyablement, le pantalon lui va toujours. "Je les ai portées - à mon grand étonnement", rit l'artiste.
La vente aux enchères aura lieu à Los Angeles et en ligne. Avec Newton-John, elle permettra de récolter un joli centime.
"Nous recherchons juste quelques milliardaires!" a t-elle dit, toujours optimiste. "Je ne veux pas mettre une limite à ce que je veux. Alors, je vais juste dire de continuer avec les millions.
"J'espère que nous récolterons une fortune. C'est ce dont nous avons besoin pour mettre fin au cancer. Je ne pense pas qu'il y ait personne en Australie qui n'ait été touchée par le cancer d'une manière ou d'une autre."
La star bien-aimée a terminé l’interview en promettant de passer plus de temps en Australie.
