THE wealth gap between London’s richest residents and the rest of the country has been laid bare in new figures.
Just 10 per cent of the capital’s population hold 66 per cent of the city’s £2,150billion wealth.
In contrast, Britain’s poorest Tell me more...fans can buy 200 items owned by Olivia, right last month region, the North East, has a total wealth of £369billion – more than five times less than London.
The figures, from the Office for National Statistics, mean that London’s most affluent 10 per IF ever an auction sees a celebrity’s costume collection snapped up like Greased Lightnin’ it will be Olivia Newton-John’s.
The actress, 70, is offering fans the chance to buy some of her big-screen outfits.

It is expected to fetch at least £200,000.
The four-time Grammy Award-winning Australian revealed last year she is battling stage four breast cancer, having first fought the disease in 2013.
Olivia also had to learn to walk again after breaking her pelvis earlier this year. But last month she said: “I am strong, I’m feeling good and loving every minute.”
Some of the auction proceeds will go to the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre in Melbourne.
She became an international film and pop sensation when she starred opposite Travolta in the 1978 musical. She followed it with the flop Xanadu in 1980.
The sale of 200 gowns, costumes, and personal items is being run by Julien’s Auctions, LA, on November 2. cent have more wealth than every region outside the South East.
