My father worked on the Enigma project at Bletchley Park. He never talked about it, he wasn’t allowed to. Just before he died he gave us children tapes in which he talked a little about it but he was still pretty guarded. I went to see The Imitation Game, the Benedict Cumberbatch film, and thought it was brilliant. It really made me wish I’d known more when my dad was still alive so I could have asked him about it.
